Speaker and educator helping leaders navigate change, sustain themselves, and lead without leaving people behind.
For more than 25 years, I've helped leaders and organizations navigate complex change and growth. Much of that time was spent as a people leader and change practitioner in a Fortune 150 company, in executive and senior roles across change and transformation, learning and development, and HR leadership. I've also advised organizations of all sizes across a wide range of industries. Today, I bring what I've learned to the stage and the classroom through keynotes, workshops, and graduate teaching, all rooted in a people-centered, brain-based approach.
My work centers on two questions: How do leaders create the conditions people need for lasting, meaningful change? And how can leaders anchor their identity in who they are, not just what they do?
I serve as adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota and the University of Denver, teaching graduate courses in organizational leadership, strategic consulting, and organizational change consulting. My students keep me learning and continually shape how I think about leadership and change.
I hold a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership (Ed.D.) from Grand Canyon University, where my research focused on change commitment and change communication. My master's degree is in Organizational and Professional Communication from the University of Denver, and I also hold a Bachelor of Music from Western Oregon University.
My husband, Jason, and I have four kids at home in Minnesota, and three grown children who live in Oregon with their partners and kids. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and writing music, savoring excellent coffee, and having conversations about faith, growth, and purpose that inspire me to think in new ways.
I also serve on the boards of Joy Collaborative, American Indian OIC, and How to be Second.
I nurture intellectual, emotional, and relational connections so people feel supported and have what they need to thrive in their work and relationships.
I work closely with others, drawing out their strengths and fostering shared ownership so everyone gains the confidence and capability to bring solutions to life.
I approach challenges with curiosity and discernment, bridging gaps and co-creating innovative solutions that strengthen people’s clarity, capability, and sense of what’s possible.
I bring presence, advocate for well-being, and prioritize the human experience to help people build the resilience needed for growth.
